At this year’s edition of the International Book Fair of Bogotá (FILBo), guests will be able to participate in over 400 events that will take place virtually that can be seen here.

All activities will be broadcast by Corferias, the FiLBo itself and the Swedish Embassy. In its 33rd edition, measures have been taken and a middle-ground has been reached, events will take place both digitally and in-person. This bodes well for a book fair that relies on a more personal touch, with this in mind, #FiLBoCiudad will hold various panels, talks, read-throughs, illustration workshops, book signings, to name a few, all throughout the city. This includes various settings such as libraries, schools and some of the most iconic bookstores in Bogotá.

Every year, the FiLBo gathers publishers, distributors, booksellers, representatives of the printing industry, writers and readers - both locally and abroad - to form one of the three largest publishing events in Latin America. This represents a significant boost, not only in terms of exposure and business it will attract from the international publishing sector, but also from potentially new readers.
