The publication of the Commercial Association of Adventure Travel (ATTA), the portal ADVENTURE TRAVEL NEWS, reported that the Adventure week Bogotá will take place between February 14 and 20, 2021, a meeting of nature tourism where there will be a recognition of natural attractions of the Bogotá Region such as flora and fauna sighting as well as an academic agenda and business roundtable.
The website describes the event as, "An opportunity to present Bogotá to international buyers as a paradise city for cyclists and bird lovers".
The meeting highlights the bird watching days that will take place, "There are more birds to see in Colombia than in any other country on the planet. In Bogotá itself, almost 200 endemic and migratory species have been detected in the city's parks, wetlands and hillside forests".
The note also highlights the activities that will be carried out around the possibilities that Bogotá offers for bicycle tourism:" With more than 540 kilometers of bicycle paths and a bicycle lane of more than 120 kilometers, Bogotá is the largest linear park in Latin America. On Sundays and holidays you can enjoy a bicycle ride, run or stroll around the city. The bicycle culture in Bogotá is enormous".
