'Bogotá, My City, My Home', has once again earned a spot in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2024, ranking eighth among the best cities to visit in South and Central America. This distinction solidifies its status as one of the most enticing destinations in the region. Alongside Cartagena, Bogotá is one of two Colombian cities to make this list, celebrated for its vibrant urban life, cultural offerings, and culinary scene.

"Bogotá continues to establish itself as one of the most appealing destinations in the region. This drives us to achieve our goal of attracting 15 million tourists, with hopes that two million will be international visitors. Such recognitions bring us closer to these targets," stated Andrés Santamaría, director of the Bogotá Tourism Institute (IDT).
