One of the recommendations for users who are going to make use of these services is to always take the transportation in the designated Terminal areas.  Additionally, at the Salitre Terminal there is a designated point of attention of the District Institute of Tourism to guide you with the planning of your trip through the city.

It is worth remembering that the arrival of new visitors to the city is on the rise, as confirmed by the most recent bulletin of tourism data and figures from the District Institute of Tourism (IDT), which shows that since the month of February an increase of more than 200% was seen compared to the same period in 2021.

Furthermore, according to the same IDT report, the flow of tourists through the Bogotá Transportation Terminal in February 2022 was up 146.9% compared to the same period in 2021.

With the arrival of new visitors to Bogota, it is important to remember how to access the Transmilenio public transportation service so that everyone can move effectively around the city. That's why we invite you to download the TransMi[app], the official application for iOS and Android where you can find all the routes and information that will allow you to plan your trips throughout the city.

We hope this guide will help you make your arrival in the city a little easier so that you can enjoy all the variety of tourist and cultural options that Bogota has to offer.
