The conversation focused on how to strike the right balance in the use of computers, tablets, and screens in schools, without losing sight of essential tools such as printed books and reading comprehension.

The Secretary of Education emphasized that one of the city’s goals is to strengthen reading skills from the earliest years of schooling, while also developing responsible digital competencies.
She also stressed that technological tools should help students learn to identify misinformation circulating on social media and digital platforms.
