El Clarín made a historical tour from its origin, when it was the District Institute of Culture and Tourism of Bogotá, to the agency that it is today, which is dedicated exclusively to the artistic sector.
In the article Mrs. Valencia noted the milestones of the institute during these 10 years, "The care and improvement of traditional scenarios of the city such as the Planetarium, the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Theater and the Cinematheque, which was moved to a new 8,500-square-meter building", she mentioned.
The note also provided context on the policies that are being implemented to address COVID-19 and the arts, "During the pandemic, artistic training had to go digital. Which is why we launched the Idartes en Casa (Idartes at home) platform, which has allowed us to reach children and young people", said the director to the Argentine newspaper.
