The Invest in Bogota promotion agency attracted investments of more than 100 million dollars to the Colombian capital during 2021.
According to Isabella Muñoz, executive director of Invest in Bogota, the materialization of these resources occurred through 35 projects that arrived thanks to a proactive promotion strategy that allowed the Colombian capital to continue positioning itself in international markets.
The 2021 investments come from 11 companies in the United States, five in Mexico, three in France, and three in Brazil. Most of them are projects to develop information technology operations and outsource services, which will allow the creation of more than 11,000 direct jobs for the city, said the director of Invest in Bogota.
According to Isabella Muñoz, the materialization of these 35 projects shows that the city, even in a scenario of uncertainty such as that generated by the pandemic, remains a highly attractive investment destination for companies in sectors with great development potential.
