With the goal of establishing ‘Bogotá, mi Ciudad, mi Casa’ as an innovative, cultural, and gastronomic metropolis, Bogotá is launching its tourism campaign "Bogotá, tu casa / Bogotá, your home" in Times Square from November 4 to 11. The initiative is designed to entice more people to explore its streets, experience its history, and enjoy its tourist, commercial, and investment opportunities.

Coordinated by the Tourism Institute of Bogotá, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, and Invest In Bogotá, the campaign will reach thousands of people worldwide. A video will showcase Bogotá as a welcoming, modern, and competitive destination, offering a fresh narrative that invites global discovery.

The campaign's focus is on evoking emotions and sparking the interest of tourists, particularly from the North American market, by presenting ‘Bogotá, mi Ciudad, mi Casa’ as a destination full of nature, culture, and warmth.

“The United States, as the main source of tourists to Bogotá, is critical to our promotion efforts. We expect to generate approximately 1,114,881 impressions in Times Square, capturing the attention of thousands of passersby in this iconic global showcase,” stated Andrés Santamaría, Director of the Tourism Institute of Bogotá (IDT).

A Campaign with Heart

The new narrative ‘Bogotá, mi Ciudad, mi Casa’ is the result of extensive research and co-creation efforts between the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB), and Invest In Bogotá—a regional development and productivity corporation. The campaign aims to establish the city as a vibrant and unique destination in the region, fostering a sense of pride among locals and visitors alike, transforming them into ambassadors of Bogotá as a premier global, intelligent, and sustainable tourist destination.

Inspired by successful models from cities like London, New York, and Barcelona, the campaign emphasizes over 60 museums, historic monuments, and a natural heritage that covers 75% of Bogotá's territory, perfect for hiking and birdwatching. It also highlights the city’s rich cultural offerings and world-class infrastructure for major events, and, of course, the warmth of its people.
