The Secretary of Environment for Bogotá, Carolina Urrutia, was appointed as one of the members of the board of directors in the C40 Cities, a Climate Leadership Group committed to the fight against the climate crisis. In this board of directors, key issues will be addressed on how to achieve greater political commitment, private sector ownership, coalition building, rapid and flexible response to cities, national and international leadership strategies, financing and the implementation of renewable energies, among others. 

Through this appointment, Bogotá ratifies its commitment to the environment and reiterates its objective of being a pioneer, nationally and internationally, in the strategic direction and decision-making to face the climate crisis.
