Édgar Jácome, former manager of the Metropolitan Public Company for the Quito Metro, congratulated the citizens of Bogotá for the progress made in the realization of the first line of the Metro project, “What they have achieved so far is an enormously important milestone, the citizens of Bogota know it, because they have spent many years trying to do this ”.
The engineer, who was in the Colombian capital as part of a mission invited by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), stressed that the Bogotá Metro is a project "made by the inhabitants of the city."
The former manager of the Quito Metro reminded the citizens of the capital that the process is just beginning and invited all citizens to maintain the high spirit that has allowed this dream to come true.
